This song is about SUMMER! Well, and being in love like EVERY song almost, but mostly summer! I'm so glad it's almost time to go home, and I think everything's going to be so beautiful. I hope there are no politics this summer. I really, really, really hate politics.
Oh, and I think I did all right on OWLs!! I KNOW I did on Charms and Muggle Studies and Herbology. I just hope I passed History and Potions. But even if I didn't I think it's going to be okay. Even if my stepdad yells.
Is anybody doing anything really FUN this summer?? I still don't know what I'm doing, but I think I'll be in London a lot and work at WWW, so you should all come see me there and I'll give you a HOGWARTS DISCOUNT if you buy things!! Only I have to ask my dad first if that's okay.

If anyone else wants to sign up for matchmaking for the Valentine's dance, do it TODAY so that we can have the matches ready for tomorrow!!
I CAN'T WAIT for Hogsmeade and seeing baby Max!! He's so cute, I think he was probably worth the wait! But his head is funny shaped, I hope it doesn't stay that way for I can't believe I'm an auntie!! Well, not a REAL auntie, but close. None of my brothers are going to have babies for a LONG time, I hope, and I hope they get married first because I think it would be so fun to be a bridesmaid! Victoire! If you and Teddy get married you ought to ask me and Lily and Rosie and Lucy to be your bridesmaids.

The holidays are so brilliant!! I wish there were more of them though. I'd like another week with my family, I almost don't want to go back to school on Monday. But TONIGHT Fred and I are going out for New Year's and there's a place in London that has a New Year's talent contest for the Best Talent of '23 and I'm going to sing! I finally chose my song even though it was really hard to pick just one, but Luke's present helped me a lot (thank you Luke!). I'm singing "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" and Ella Fitzgerald sang it really wonderfully a long time ago and I think it's going to be wonderful! So cross your fingers for me! It's a Muggle contest and if I win it then there's a prize in Muggle money. I don't THINK I'm going to win, I bet there are loads of people better than me, but last year I came in runner-up at one of these contests and it was just really fun.
Oh, and thank you to everybody who sent me a present, it was really nice!

My mum finally sent the rest of my outfit for the dance!! I'm SO pleased with the dress, it's purple and it's got sparkles and it's got this front that's scrunchy and makes me look like I have a bosom actually I've got shoes that are purple with sparkles and these really pretty hoops and a flower necklace and a flower thing to put in my hair and it is all going to be SO NICE!! I think I'm going to do my hair up in victory rolls and I'll look JUST like Ava Gardner. Only she was much prettier and really light, but we have almost the same sort of hair!
And this time Michael is staying OUT of trouble and I hope he's at home with Frankie and not babysitting any hippogryffs or sphinxes!! So this time I am DEFINITELY going to the dance, don't worry, Seamus, and it's going to be so BRILLIANT. I can't wait!

Should be so tyrannous and rough in proof!
I don't know if love really is tyrannous and rough but I think it's really hard to love somebody a lot (like FAMILY love, not romantic love, but maybe that too) because you want them never to have anything bad happen, and you worry a lot because of that.
But I'm not worried too mu ANYMORE, so don't worry about me! I know all of my lines for being Benvolio in the play and I'm so excited for it!! My mum is coming and my stepdad and maybe my dad too. And I HOPE my brothers will come.
I'm so glad it's less than a month now until holidays!! And I'm GOING to go to the Christmas dance and it's going to have to be extra fun because I missed the Halloween one. So if anybody wants to ask me they should a

I want to have a vote. How many girls think boys are stupid?? You can just vote YES or NO and I'll count them and then we'll know.
And does anybody want to be a Feminist with me? A Feminist with a CAPITAL F. That means we believe in girl power and we don't need to rely on boys to do things or care very much what they think of us or if they fancy us. But we can still be friends with them! Or even have boyfriends and things, but we need to focus on OURSELVES because boys are a bit stupid sometimes and we can't think what they say or do is the most important thing, because we're smart and skilled and strong and pretty, even if boys don't notice it yet.

There's a line in a song that Frankie sings that goes "I'm as busy as a spider spinning daydreams," and it's a song about falling in love like a lot of songs are, but besides that I really DO feel as busy as a spider just now anyway! Because it's OWLs year and all of the professors are assigning a LOT of homework already, and I have my prefect duty and Drama club and Charms club and Choir too, once all of the clubs start again.
And I have to go and cheer on Seamus at Quidditch tryouts whenever they are, and Noel and Cady MIGHT be trying out too but I'm really cheering on Seamus because he's been practicing and I think he but I hope they're all trying out for Chaser or something because Beater really is too dangerous! My dad was a Beater at Hogwarts and so was Fred, though, and they're both all right, so maybe it isn't that bad, but it's still a bit scary. Oh, and this year I can cheer on Hufflepuff in ALL the matches, even against Gryffindor! I hope I have TIME to go to the matches and I'm not just studying all the time.
At least on Fridays I only have one class! That's a nice way to start out the weekends.

Aiden Harper is a BAD PERSON!! My stepdad says if he's not put in Azkaban after THIS, there ought to be an inquest at the Wizengamot. My mum says they should execute him, but that was before she had her pumpkin juice FINALLY, so I think she's less cranky now. I don't know what my dad says, because I haven't asked him yet.
Politics are a bit scary, I think. If it means people attack you and try to kill you, I definitely don't want to be in politics. Is there a party for people who don't want people to fight??
Oh, and! I'm in a MOVIE!! I've never been in a movie before, it's going to be brilliant!

NOT visible to any Potters/Weasleys except Fred and Hugo
Guess what??? AMERICA is brilliant!! and we saw a base ball match, and there were these funny soft pretzels that were HUGE, and a lot of cars, and there was an American boy who said I was CUTE but I didn't get to talk to him very much. I got to go to a music museum and hear things about Mo Town from a very nice old man who was a bit like my grandfather and I found some really nice records of old-fashioned jazz from Detroit! And all the people had really cute accents, it was almost hard to understand them sometimes, but it was nice to listen to! It was so lovely there. THANK YOU FRED! and Brooke! and I hope you have fun in JAMAICA!
I wish I could go to Jamaica too, but I think it's all right that I'm at home now because I missed it a bit. And I have PRESENTS! for everyone, mostly! I'll send them soon.
